The Centre’s research output is useful in the formulation of our national policies in foreign affairs, defence and culture as well as in the spheres of bilateral, multilateral and regional cooperation, besides being made available to UGC’s Standing Advisory Committee on Area Studies Programme (ASCOASP).
The Centre publishes the research works of its faculty and the structured lectures of the Visiting Faculty in the form of Books and Monographs.
This is the only Area Studies Centre in India bringing out an international Journal of Area Studies which serves as an invaluable compendium of ideas, facts and figures on different areas of the world.
